PAD, NONADHERENT

The contract specifies the procurement of sterile, nonadherent Telfa pads measuring 3 inches by 8 inches, supplied in packages of fifty each. Each pad is individually packaged with perforated plastic film on both sides, constructed from white cotton nonwoven material, and must maintain a shelf life of 36 months. No more than five months may have elapsed between the manufacturer’s production date and the delivery date to the government. Packaging must comply with commercial standards as outlined in the procurement document, with each unit sealed in a protective container to prevent damage and all units packed in suitable commercial shipping containers to ensure safe, cost-effective delivery to Fort Bragg, North Carolina. All items must be labeled in accordance with Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes MIL-STD-129, and detailed marking instructions are available through DLA Troop Support. The item is classified as a TYPE 2 (CODE 7) shelf life item under RS060 requirements and is subject to technical and quality specifications referenced in the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements. The procurement is under solicitation SPE2DS-26-T-282U with a response deadline in August 2026 and a delivery requirement within 20 days of award, covering six packages for the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain.
