*US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, with Colonial Parking, Inc. for the renewal of parking space reservation at the Office of Information Technology's GSA-leased office on N. Beauregard Street, under authority of FAR 8.405-6; FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) and 41 USC 253(c)(1). *There is only one responsible source, as Colonial Parking, Inc. owns and operates the attached parking garage surrounding this office space. Each building has its own dedicated parking garage open only to building tenants. There is no public transportation access. Colonial Parking is the only vendor who can fulfill this need without undue expectations of the occupants. All other parking within 1 mile of the leased office space is tenant-only. The closest open garage is over a mile away from the office space, and comes at a greater cost. *This lease covers a period of performance for one fiscal year, and runs through 09/30/2011, the last day of the fiscal year. *The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 812930 Parking Lots and Garages. *The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly with Colonial Parking, Inc.
