The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), is seeking to procure 20 parking permits for employees working at the Maritime Plaza located at 1220 12th Street, SE, Washington, DC. This acquisition supports the relocation of a design team program from the Washington Navy Yard to the Maritime Plaza, necessitating convenient parking near the facility. The prior small business set-aside has been removed, and although competition will be considered if offers are submitted, the government reserves the right to proceed without competition to avoid unnecessary costs. The contract is identified by solicitation number N0016710T0147 and was posted on September 28, 2010. Interested parties could submit capability statements to the government point of contact by September 30, 2010, but the decision to compete or not remains solely with the government.
