Part Time Protestant Organist

The Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) intends to issue a solicitation for Services of a Part Time Protestant Organist. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside procurement, the NAICS code is 711130 and the size standard is $6.5 million. This solicitation will result in a contract with a base period of performance from date of award through September 30, 2009, with the possibility of three one-year option periods. The purpose of this solicitation is to provide Part Time provide organ/keyboard accompaniment for Protestant worship services as follows. The contractor shall provide accompaniment for all congregational singing for the rendition of music required during Protestant worship services for the Protestant residents of the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, DC. Contractor shall coordinate and make recommendations to the chaplain in charge of the worship service of music and/or music related activities for the worship service. Contractor shall help plan, train, and lead congregation/worshippers in the music chosen for services, including new music to be introduced to the congregation. A complete listing of personnel qualifications will be included in the solicitation's performance work statement. The Contractor shall provide organ/keyboard accompaniment for Protestant worship services for one day per week for 52 weeks. Weekly worship service is every Sunday morning in AFRH Chapel from 10:15 am to 11:45 am for 52 weeks. Protestant organist will be required to participate in choir rehearsal one day per week for 52 weeks in AFRH Chapel - Date and Time to be determined.
