PARTS FOR JET DRIVES

The purpose of this Modification is to incorporate the Solicitation Number on the attachment package to read HSCG40-12-R-50116. All other terms and conditions remain the same. The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistic Center, Small Boat Product Line, is seeking qualified sources that can provide Rolls Royce Marine parts for the Jet Drives utilized on 45'ResponseBoat-Medium (RB-M) boats. All parts supplied must be genuine Rolls Royce Marine parts-no substitutes, or aftermarket parts shall be accepted. All parts shall be Standard Commercial packaged. Delivery of all parts shall be F.O.B. Destination. The Government anticipates awarding a fixed-price requirements-type contract consisting of one base year and four option years as a result of this solicitation. All engineering and technical data, drawings, etc. required to manufacture these parts are proprietary information to the OEM. It is the Government's belief that only Rolls Royce Marine can provide these parts; therefore the Government shall solicit only Rolls Royce Marine and/or their authorized distributors. Concerns were given the opportunity to submit their capabilities in the Sources Sought Notice published on FedBizOpps on July 3, 2012. Solicitation Number HSCG40-12-R-50116 complete package shall be available for download on or about August 13, 2012. This date is estimated at best. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. This announcement is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1.
