Full Description

This proposed action is for the procurement of engineering services for the PAC-3 Cost Reduction Initiative (CRI) and Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) missiles, Enhanced Launcher Electronic System (ELES) and Fire Solution Computer (FSC) software and hardware post deployment build (PDB) tactical fielding activities. This effort provides engineering support for the System Guidance and Computer Program (SGCP), the Multi-band Radio Frequency Data Link (MRFDL), and the Seeker and Simplified Inertial Measurement Unit (SIMU). The engineering services include logistics maintenance engineering, logistics software support, engineering functional support, obsolescence monitoring and anaysis, configuration management support and program management support for the PAC-3 missile segment. The proposed source for this effort is Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC), 1701 West Marshall Drive, Grand Prairie, Texas, 75051, commercial and government entity (CAGE) code 64059. LMMFC is the developer and producer of the PAC-3 missile segment and support equipment, and the only source with the knowledge, expertise, and a full disclosure technical data package (TOP) to perform this effort. The Government does not have the necessary intellectual property rights to utilize the data for full and open competition.
