Paving Lunn Street

The Town of Asquith is soliciting bids for the paving of two street segments: Lunn Street from Mather Avenue to Railway Avenue, approximately 473 meters in length, and the 700 block of Cory Street, approximately 122 meters in length. The work requires a six-inch gravel base preparation, lifting and reinstallation of two manholes with their collars, and application of an eight-meter wide asphalt surface with a four-inch crown. The asphalt must be laid in a single lift up to 50 millimeters thick, or as otherwise feasible within a single lift. The contract does not guarantee acceptance of the lowest bid, and all tenders will be evaluated based on criteria not specified in the posting. The solicitation, identified as ASQ-2026-1, was posted on July 23, 2026, with responses due by August 7, 2026.
