PD-42-0283; CVN-78 Propulsion Shaft Procurement

The Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division, is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) titled N64498-25-RFPREQ-PD-42-0283 to evaluate industry capabilities for manufacturing CVN-78 Class waterborne propulsion shafting, including the inboard intermediate shaft, outboard intermediate shaft, and propeller shaft, to maintain a ready-for-issue rotatable pool for the U.S. Navy’s Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carriers.
