OVERVIEW The PEPFAR Country Coordinator (the Coordinator) in Angola is responsible for the leadership and facilitation of the interagency country team, management and coordination of the strategy and implementation planning, and communication among the U.S. Government (USG) departments and agencies (State Department, CDC, DOD and USAID) involved in the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in Angola. The Coordinator receives policy direction from the U.S. Ambassador to Angola and decision-making authority from the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator.
