Service Canada Western and Territories (SC W-T) Region within the Employment Social Development Canada (ESDC) has a requirement to train employees on Performance Measurement, specifically the PuMP Methodology learning topic. The primary objective of the PuMP Methodology training is to gain the skills required to design effective performance measurements on an ongoing basis and help transition the Region from measuring activities to outcomes and impacts. This training will teach participants to: 1. Develop measurable strategies. 2. Design and select performance measures for outcomes and impact. 3. Define signals to determine whether performance is improving. 4. Define performance goals. 5. Understand how to use performance measurement for continuous improvement and effective transformation. 6. Get buy-in from senior leadership and partners. 7. Design insightful and actionable reports and dashboards. This training will provide relevant information and explanations of: A. Understanding measurement’s purpose for continual improvement and transformation B. Designing meaningful measures for outcomes and impact. C. Building Buy-in to measures. D. Implementing measures. E. Interpreting signals from measures. F. Reporting performance measures. G. Reaching or adjusting performance goals.
