The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Advance Safety Equipment Company. DEA intends to add an additional CLIN to the existing BPA (DJD-17-HQ-S-0037) for Personal Protection Equipment Kits. The new CLIN will include items already establish in the BPA. These kits are needed to protect DEA field agents from unintended exposure of fentanyl that may lead to overdose and/or death. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.305 the sole source justification will be provided within 14 days after contract award. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures." The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 423450, Medical, Dental, and Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers. The business size standard is 500. This business is a Small Business. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.
