Full Description

The work involves sanitary sewer system, potable water supply and emergency backup power supply improvements at the Petoff Garden Apartment Complex in the Town of Mayfield, NY. The work generally includes a new low pressure sanitary sewer connection to a municipal sanitary sewer system, decommissioning of the existing onsite wastewater treatment system, control system upgrades of the existing onsite potable water supply system, and installation of a new emergency backup generator servicing a portion of Apartment Building #2. The work shall be completed within 180 calendar days after the date the Contract Times commence to run. The project is subject to prevailing Federal wage rates as well as specific requirements for Federal contracts all as described in the Contract Documents. Minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to bid on this project. Section 3 contractors are encouraged to bid on this project. This is a HUD Section 3 Project with hiring and contracting priorities for low-income persons and businesses that hire or are owned by them. Contracts will be awarded by Fulton County Community Heritage Corporation (FCCHC) which reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any minor informalities or technicalities at their discretion, and to award contracts in a manner deemed to be in the best interests of FCCHC, even if such award is to other than the lowest bidder.
