Work on this Contract comprises general construction and upgrades to the Structured Intervention Unit (SIU) at Stony Mountain Institution (SMI). The SIU is approx. 2400 sq meters over 2 floors and a mezzanine. The upgrades include, but are not limited to: · HVAC system replacement including air handling unit and hydronic heating system. · HVAC control system and connection to the Powerhouse, · Renovate various rooms including the installation of new doors and frames. · Replace security glazing. · Construct 2 weather shield roof structures in courtyards. · Replace security grilles. · Replace toilets and sinks in 40 cells. · Upgrade existing electronic security systems including closed circuit television, public address, inmate cell call system, door control system and limited intercom system. · new LED lighting · new epoxy flooring · new painting throughout.
