PIERCE TRANSIT CALL FOR BIDS UNIT PRICED ON CALL SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL Contract No. E2615 PIERCE TRANSIT is a municipal corporation with administrative offices located at 3701 96th Street SW, Lakewood, Washington 98499-4431. Bid proposals are being solicited from bidders to furnish labor, equipment and materials to perform on-call snow and ice removal, as required. Scope of Work: Provide labor, equipment and materials to assist Pierce Transit with emergency snow and ice removal at one or more of the various locations in Pierce County as listed in Specification Section 01 11 00 Summary of Work. Work shall also include manually clearing snow from transit center platforms. The Contract shall expire 12 months following the Notice to Proceed or when the total of $100,000, including applicable sales tax, has been expended, whichever occurs first. If, at the end of the Contract term, available contract funds remain, the Contract term may be extended for one additional year upon mutual agreement. The unit prices as bid shall remain for the duration of the Contract term.
