Pino Lane Wastewater Improvements

The City of Austin is undertaking wastewater infrastructure improvements along Pino Lane near E. William Cannon Drive to address chronic capacity issues that pose a high risk of overflows. The project involves installing approximately 1,825 linear feet of new PVC wastewater pipe in sizes ranging from 6 inches to 18 inches, connecting a manhole in Pino Lane to another in Dove Springs Road to reroute flow and relieve system strain. Alongside this, the work includes constructing new precast and cast-in-place manholes and implementing bypass pumping to maintain service during construction. An additional 1,150 linear feet of an existing 10-inch concrete wastewater line will be rehabilitated using Cured-In-Place Pipe lining technology to extend its service life and improve flow efficiency.
