Pioneer Park - Cordero Fence Replacement

The Kenton County Fiscal Court is soliciting proposals for the removal of existing fencing and the installation of new fencing at Cordero Field in Pioneer Park. The scope of work includes the tear-out and removal of old fencing and the furnishing and installation of outfield, dugout, and backstop fences. Technical specifications require all posts to be 4 inch Schedule 40 weight, set in concrete, and anchored to concrete where applicable. Additionally, 1,216 feet of 4 inch yellow safety poly-cap must be installed on the tops of the 6 foot and 8 foot chain link fences. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder based on cost, vendor qualifications, and proposal completeness. Proposals must be submitted through the county eProcurement portal by 2:00 pm on September 16, 2026. Required submission documents include a technical proposal without cost, a W-9, a certificate of insurance, a Kenton County occupational license, and a bid bond equal to 5 percent of the proposed price. Awarded contractors must provide a performance bond for 100 percent of the contract price and maintain commercial general liability insurance of 1 million dollars per occurrence and workers compensation of 500,000 dollars. The project is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and contractors must comply with the Kentucky Human Rights Act and other specified employment and safety regulations.
