Pituffik Space Base Project Delivery Method Market Research Questionnaire

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, is conducting market research to determine the most effective project delivery method and contracting vehicle for design and construction work at Pituffik Space Base. This effort focuses on the Initial Operational Capacity phase, with an estimated acquisition magnitude between 250 million and 500 million dollars. The scope of work is divided into four primary categories: vertical facilities, including weather shelter hangars, a fuel cell and corrosion control hangar, an aircraft maintenance unit with a secure facility area built to ICD 705 standards, and a central utility plant; airfield and civil infrastructure, such as taxiway repaving and power check pads; utilities infrastructure; and security and site safeguards. Participation in this opportunity is strictly limited to Danish and Greenlandic firms. Eligible respondents must be registered in the Kingdom of Denmark via the Det Central Virksomhedsregister (CVR), maintain a registered address within the Kingdom of Denmark, and provide a signed letter from a Danish bank officer verifying their business relationship. The government is seeking professional feedback on delivery options such as Construction Manager at Risk, Progressive Design-Build, or traditional Design Bid Build. Interested firms must submit their responses in PDF format to the designated points of contact by October 1, 2026. Payment for the eventual contract will be made exclusively via electronic funds transfer to a bank located in Denmark.
