Platzl Parking Lot Pedestrian Safety Railing

The City of Kimberley is soliciting quotes for the supply, fabrication, delivery, and installation of approximately 500 linear feet of pedestrian safety railing for the Platzl Parking Lot in British Columbia. The project involves installing hot-dip galvanized steel pipe railing, including all necessary posts, rails, brackets, and anchoring hardware, along existing concrete retaining walls adjacent to Ross Street and within the parking lot. All work must generally conform to MMCD Standard Detail Drawings C14 and be delivered F.O.B. to the City of Kimberley Public Works Yard. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and required traffic control permits. Quotes must be submitted in Canadian funds by 4:00 p.m. MDT on October 21, 2026, via email or facsimile. A complete submission requires a signed Form of Quotation and completed specification sheets. The successful supplier must maintain WorkSafeBC coverage in good standing, hold a valid City of Kimberley Business License, and provide proof of Commercial General Liability Insurance with a minimum limit of five million dollars per occurrence, naming the City as an additional insured. The City maintains broad discretion in the award process, reserving the right to accept a quote other than the lowest or reject all submissions.
