This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is being required and a written solicitation will not be used. Non-Personal Services: The Air Force intends to solicit and issue a sole source contract, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) for the following services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, material, parts, quality control, transportation and inspection manuals necessary to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM), Calibration, and Remedial Maintenance (RM) on the 76 PMXG Simplex Grinnell Gas Detection System for Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC). The contractor shall also provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, to include reflective clothing (belt, vest, etc.); hearing and eye protection, to include prescription safety glasses; safety harnesses; fall protection equipment; lifting equipment, and any incidentals necessary to perform the requirements of the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The equipment is listed in Appendix A. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract with a Time and Materials (T&M) line item is contemplated. The proposed Period of Performance is 3 April 2015 - 2 April 2016. The estimated award date is 12 February 2015. The System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive an award.
