Full Description

Janitorial Services, USDA Forest Service, Forestry Sciences Laboratory, Wenatchee, Washington. The purpose of this contract is to obtain Janitorial Services for the USDA Forest Service, Forestry Sciences Laboratory located in Wenatchee, Chelan County, Washington. Work includes but is not limited to providing custodial services for approximately 3,000 square feet of floor space. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, tools, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. Performance will be conducted in accordance with commercial standards. The work shall be performed any time the office is officially closed (before 6:00 am or after 1800 (6:00 pm) on weekdays or any time on the weekends). The preferred schedule includes a cleaning Tuesday night, a second cleaning Thursday night, and the final cleaning for the week Friday night or early Saturday morning, but this can be negotiated. The NAICS code is 561720; Size Standard is $15.0 million. The contract will be a Firm Fixed-price contract with a base year and two option-year periods. The contract period, including the base year and the three option years if exercised, will be from approximately September 1, 2011 through September 30, 2015. . This project is totally set aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources meeting the small business size standard may submit an offer which will be considered. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on or about September 2, 2011. No hard copies will be issued.
