Bldg. 77L NE Exterior Insulation Finishing System (EIFS) is failing, allowing moisture into the building. There is a larger design and project planned to correct the entire 77L EIFS System but it will be a few years until this work is started. Therefore, requesting the NE Exterior wall, from the center double doors to the NE corner of the building be temporarily repaired. Recommend repair include coating the entire wall with an Elastomeric Coating (Master Protect). Coating would likely need to be applied via spray and multiple coatings. Coating shall match the exterior color of the existing EIFS. In addition, all small cracks would need to be raked out/enlarged and filled with polyurethane sealant prior to applying Elastomeric Coating. There is also possibly a small area of 750 SQFT with larger cracks and or multiple smaller cracks, which might be beneficial to repair part of the EIFS via by having a base coat applied with a mesh coat and then a finished coat to match the existing EIFS outer coating. Target start date is November 4th with a completion by November 18th. Will need to review the scope/IGE prior to proceeding to Acquisitions. DATE SUBMITTED: 11/5/24 TF-1#NSWC-0078-25
