Pool 2 Coastal Branch Secondary Road Erosion Repair

The California Department of Water Resources is scheduled to repair erosion along the secondary access road of Pool 2 on the Coastal Branch by filling and compacting the damaged area. The work will involve hauling in fill material using a dump truck, with a backhoe employed to place and compact the material. A water truck may be utilized to suppress dust and improve compaction, and a compaction wheel could also be deployed to ensure proper density. All activities will be conducted strictly within the DWR right-of-way and along the road, with no staging permitted on unpaved ground—only paved or graveled surfaces will be used for equipment and material placement.
