The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) plans to extend the existing contract C-OPC-23423 with FNF Servicing for an additional six months on a sole source basis. This extension, authorized under FAR 6.302-1 due to there being only one responsible source capable of meeting the agency's needs, will allow FNF Servicing to continue providing essential services including Pool Processing and Certification Agent (PPA), Central Paying and Transfer Agent (CPTA), Platinum Trustee, and Multiclass Information Agent functions related to the processing and issuance of Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS). FNF Servicing is the current incumbent performing these roles. The purpose of the extension is to facilitate the transition to new contract awardees following a recent Request for Proposal (RFP) competition. No competitive solicitation will be issued as part of this extension, and this notice explicitly states that it is not a request for proposals or quotations. The contract pertains to services categorized under NAICS code 531110 and will be performed in Washington, DC. HUD’s Chief Procurement Officer oversees the contract, with Joy K. Christie serving as the Contract Specialist and point of contact for any inquiries related to the contract extension. The arrangement underscores HUD's need to maintain continuity in the specialized services related to MBS processing while the transition to new providers is completed.
