************Questions Have Closed for this Requirement*************** Questions & Answers: Q: Malpractice insurance was not a requisite for the previous PDHRA contract and did not appear anywhere in the PWS. Medical personnel are covered under the military/Air Force malpractice so I am wondering if this requirement is accurate. A: Medical personnel are covered under military/Air Force malpractice. Please see revised PWS where this requirement has been removed. Q: The quantity for the amount of hours for the base year and option year is listed at 2008 hours the base is closed for 10 observed holidays a year which equals 80 hours. There are only 2080 hours in a year so 2008 does not include all holidays. Also previous PDHRA contract and all contracts that I have seen have 1880 as the quantity for hours ( 10 holidays x 8 hours= 80hrs), ( 3 wks unpaid leave= 120hrs), 2080 hrs - 200hrs = 1880 hrs/year. A: Please see the amended solicitation with corrected quantities. Q: Can you please clarify what is an acceptable specialty to fill this position? Psychologist is listed once, but there are no qualification requirements included for a Psychologist, only Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. A: The position is for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Q: Per section 4.15.3. The contract manager or alternate shall be available during normal duty hours within two (2) hours to meet on the installation with government personnel (designated by the CO) to discuss problems. After normal duty hours the manager or alternate shall be available within four (4) hours. Question: this contract is for one Full Time PA or NP is it the governments intent for the contractor to also provide a Full time contract manager on site in Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan if so we will be able to bill for this position? A: The Government's intent is for one full time PA or NP on site at Kadena AB. Please refer to the revised PWS dated 26 June 2012.
