Post Mountain Overlay

The Post Mountain Overlay project, managed by the California Department of Transportation in Redding, involves the application of a 0.10 inch overlay with isolated digouts using state funding. The scope of work includes pavement mill and fill operations at bridge approaches and begin and end conforms, with shoulders being backed to standard. All activities will be contained within existing hinge points, and no work will be performed on bridge decks. This project is categorized as a forecast and will be performed within the state of California. The design ensures there will be no increase in impervious surfaces or disturbed soil areas.
