This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and written solicitation will NOT be issued. The closing date is 12:00 pm (CST) on Tuesday, March 13, 2013. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333318. The Internal Revenue Service requires two high band postage meter mailing machines per the specs below. Each machine will constitute a specific line item and will be delivered FOB Destination. Each machine shall be delivered and installed by April 1, 2013. ADDRESS Internal Revenue Service 2970 Market Street Philadelphia, PA 19104 HIGH BAND 190+ pieces of mail per minute Automatic with minimum scaleweight capacity of 70 lbs. Handle flats and parcels Must have the ability to calculate each item's weights There will be a base + three option periods. The periods shall be as follows: Base: 04/01/13 - 12/31/2013 Option Year 1: 01/01/2014 - 12/31/2014 Option Year 2: 01/01/2015 - 12/31/2015 Option Year 3: 01/01/2016 - 12/31/2016 The pricing shall be per month per machine and totaled overall. This will include both machines for the life of the entire contract, the base plus 3 option periods.
