AI Contract Overview
The contract solicits a firm fixed price, all-inclusive quote for specific items including power bricks, quad power supplies, and patch cable sets, with no substitutes allowed. The quote must be provided in the name of the requester and include key information such as the current date, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), country of origin, and lead time. The Department of Energy requires transparency in pricing, so vendors must provide a published price list available online or a suitable alternative such as a redacted invoice or webpage screenshot as proof of pricing. Vendors are encouraged to offer any available discounts for their best price. Additionally, vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) with a valid UEI number to comply with DOE reporting requirements, although foreign vendors are exempt from SAM registration but must complete an AMS-Form-050 when applicable. Failure to complete SAM registration may disqualify a vendor from participating. This contract, posted by Brookhaven National Laboratory under the Department of Energy, is open for response until June 5, 2026, and is governed by specific terms and conditions attached to any resulting purchase order. The point of contact for the procurement is Beth Gilman, reachable via email or phone, based at the Upton, New York location.

2. System For Award Management (SAM):
In order to support DOE reporting requirements, BSA requires all its vendors/contractors to be registered in the U. S. Government supplier database entitled System for Award Management (SAM) with their Unique Entity ID number (UEI#). Registration can be performed online at www.sam.gov. If not already registered, please register as soon as possible since failure to do so may preclude BSA from doing business with your organization. Please note that there is no charge for SAM registration. When registering, you are strongly urged to copy and paste www.sam.gov onto your browser address rather than utilizing your search engine. Utilizing your search engine may redirect you to an erroneous site. You may obtain assistance in completing your registration by contacting the Federal Help Desk at 866-606-8220 or by contacting your local Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), which can be found at https://www.aptac-us.org
*Foreign vendors are not required to be registered in SAM but must fill out a AMS-Form-050 (Enclosure B) when applicable.
Any resulting purchase order will be subject to the attached Terms and Conditions.
