Pre-Advertisement Notice for Annual Sanitary Sewer Repairs

The City of Atlanta's Department of Watershed Management is initiating a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process to procure services for the rehabilitation, renewal, and repair of the city's sanitary sewer collection system. This procurement will begin with a prequalification phase, during which interested vendors must demonstrate adequate staffing, equipment, materials, and relevant experience needed to execute multiple sewer repair assignments across various locations. Following successful prequalification, an Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued for work-order assignments covering sewer mains, manholes, service laterals, and associated site restoration efforts. The selected vendor will be expected to mobilize promptly, coordinate effectively, and complete each work order according to schedules, department guidance, and contract requirements. The scope includes a wide range of activities such as bypass pumping, sewer cleaning, CCTV/sonar inspections, point repairs, open-cut replacement, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, pipe bursting, jack and bore operations, manhole rehabilitation, traffic control, utility coordination, and pavement or landscape restoration.
