The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), will shortly issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure a qualified Design¿Build Team for the delivery of the new Chastain Park Parking Garage. Interested firms will be evaluated based on demonstrated experience, technical capability, ability to meet schedule requirements, and capacity to manage multidisciplinary design¿build delivery. The City¿s expectation is that the selected Design¿Build team will be responsible for comprehensive project execution encompassing design, permitting, engineering, construction, quality assurance, and facility turnover. Scope elements include community engagement, demolition, site preparation, utility relocation, geotechnical investigation, detailed design submissions, schedule development, construction, testing, commissioning, and warranty support. A Pre¿Solicitation Conference will be announced to provide additional project clarity and address vendor questions regarding criteria, deliverables, and expectations.
