The Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AOUSC) is preparing to issue a solicitation for the Judiciary Multiple Award Services (JMAS) IV contract between January 21 and February 7, with the solicitation to be posted on FedBizOpps. This pre-solicitation notice informs interested contractors to monitor FedBizOpps regularly for updates, amendments, or the actual release of the solicitation. There have been significant revisions to the statement of work and labor categories since the earlier Request for Information (RFI) issued in the summer of 2013, so previous responses may need to be reconsidered accordingly. Contractors are advised that the AOUSC does not guarantee the solicitation release date and will not accept inquiries or provide additional information until the solicitation is formally issued. The solicitation pertains to services under the NAICS code 541511, with the place of performance located in Washington, DC. The notice emphasizes that contractors should carefully evaluate their resource allocation decisions since the AOUSC will not be responsible for any commitments before the solicitation is officially released. Earl L. Friedman serves as the Contracting Officer and is listed as the point of contact, although no further communication is expected prior to solicitation issuance. This announcement serves as an advisory to prepare for forthcoming opportunities under the JMAS IV procurement.
