Preventive maintenance for five Hollings Marine Laboratory (HML) Chiller Systems

AMENDMENT 001 - 08/10/2026
This amendment is being issued to provide the full Questions and Answers attachment, along with any applicable additional comments/clarifications originating electronically or from the site visits.
No further questions are being accepted with the issuing of this amendment, and no further site visits will be accepted.
The closing date of this solicitation is extended to August 21, 2026 at 12:00pm EST to allow for quotes to be submitted.
The following changes are made:
- (vii) Quotes are required to be received in the contracting office no later than 12:00pm EST on 08/21/2026. All quotes must be submitted electronically via email to Randall.Chatfield@noaa.gov, and have a minimum validity of 60 days.
- Statement of Work: The intent of this requirement is for the Contractor to perform the specified preventive maintenance services, troubleshoot the chiller systems, and identify and report any deficiencies. It is not intended to require the Contractor to include the repair or replacement of controls and primary pumps in its quoted price for preventive maintenance.

“The Hollings Marine Laboratory, located at 331 Fort Johnson Rd., Charleston, SC 29412, requires the services of a company to provide semiannual and annual preventive maintenance for the five Hollings Marine Laboratory (HML) Chiller Systems. During these inspections, the company will troubleshoot, repair, or replace controls and primary pumps as necessary. Furthermore, the selected company must be capable of receiving and responding to emergency calls 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, within four hours of the initial request.”
