Must be a 2-channel, segmented flow analysis (also known as continuous flow analysis), automated spectrophotometer with flame photometry". Must have a fully automated, computerized analyzing system for nutrients in water or aqueous extracts which is able to analyze for ammonium, nitrate, orthophosphate, calcium, magnesium, and potassium, total nitrogen, total phosphorus.
