The Producibility and Scalability Consulting subcontract supports the Missile Defense Agency within the Department of Defense, focusing on the transition of prototype designs for prime contractors into high-volume production. Based at Redstone Arsenal, the scope of work involves applying Design-for-Manufacturing-and-Assembly principles and utilizing cost-modeling and manufacturing simulation tools to establish efficient pathways for rapid attrition replacement. Key deliverables for this engagement include the development of manufacturing feasibility plans and rough order of magnitude cost estimates. Due to the nature of the projects, the contractor must maintain a Facility Security Clearance to perform the work.
