PROFESSIONAL LEGAL SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF GROVELAND

The City of Groveland is seeking the services of firms interested in providing Professional Legal (City Attorney) Services for the City of Groveland. The Scope of Services is provided in this document. It is anticipated that the City of Groveland will contract with one firm to provide the necessary professional legal services. The following Request for Proposals (RFP) has been developed to solicit proposals from experienced Law Firms to provide City Attorney Services to the City of Groveland. The City of Groveland is a growing Florida municipality with a broad range of municipal operations and services. The City’s organization includes the City Council, City Manager’s Office, City Clerk, Finance, Human Resources, Police, Public Works, and other operational departments and advisory functions. The City also manages long-range planning, development activity, public infrastructure, procurement, contracts, records compliance, and other municipal responsibilities that require timely and practical legal counsel. As Groveland continues to grow, the City seeks legal services that support day-to-day operations, legislative actions, quasi-judicial matters, real estate and contract review, risk mitigation, and the avoidance and management of litigation.
