Professional Support Services For The D4 Traffic Controller System

Bid #WT15022: The City of Stockton is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide five years of professional services to support its D4 traffic signal controller software. This includes D4 maintenance and updates, access to D4 Utilities software with timely over-the-air updates, on-call user support (phone support 8 AM-4 PM PST Monday-Friday, email support 24 hours a day), biennial in-person D4 training, annual remote training on newly released or modified D4 features, and communication of the City’s interests for future D4 development. The selected firm must be familiar with D4, signal operation and timing, NEMA traffic signal cabinets, and various signal controller hardware such as McCain EX2 and Siemens/Yunex M60 controllers. The objective is to ensure the reliability and effective use of D4, which is already in operation throughout the City’s Traffic Signal Network, managing over 300 traffic signals and HAWK beacons.
