The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in the specifications for Project No. ZNRE 05-1015, Install Sprinkler System, B650 COMM, Yokota Air Base, Japan. Perform all work indicated in specifications or accompanying drawings, which will be included in the solicitation package. The contractor is required to provide a complete and usable facility within the terms and conditions of the contract. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: - Install appropriate detection devices, for the preaction system, - Install continuous air sampling smoke detection system in appropriate areas, - Remove the former halon fire suppression system and appurtenances, - Test the existing acoustical ceiling tiles to determine asbestos abatement requirements and all incidental related work. - Depending upon the results of the asbestos testing, abatement/removal of these tiles may be required pending appropriate contract modification. The magnitude of this project is expected between Y82,403,500 and Y412,017,500 ($1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00), in accordance with FAR 36.204 (f), which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation. The site visits is scheduled on 28 Aug 2013 at 0900 hours, JST.
