U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Leech Lake Dam LP Gas Service Scope of Work 1.0 General: This scope of work provides details for acquisition of LP Gas for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) Leech Lake Dam. This contract consists of the acquisition of LP Gas by the Corps with a base contract period of 1 year and with subsequent option periods for 4 years. 2.0 Project Location: Leech Lake Dam is located off County Road 8 in Federal Dam, Minnesota in Cass County. 3.0 Billing. The Contractor shall send a copy of the invoice to the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, PO Box 625, 34385 US Highway 2 West, Grand Rapids, MN 55744. 4.0 LP Tank Service: The Contractor shall inspect, maintain and service the two 1,000 gallon LP tanks so that they continue to meet required regulations. 5.0 LP Tank Locations: At Leech Lake Dam one of the 1,000 gallon LP gas tanks is located at the north end of the office building. The tank is easily accessible from the office building parking lot. The other 1,000 gallon LP gas tank is located in the center of the campground next to the comfort station. Park staff maintains a plowed road for access to the tank in the winter season. 6.0 Average Yearly LP Consumption: The average yearly consumption of LP gas at Leech Lake Dam - 9,000 gallons. This information is provided for informational purposes only. 7.0 Deliveries Per Year: The Contractor will need to make approximately 5 deliveries to Leech Lake Dam per year with usually only one of those deliveries during the summer months.
