This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number A12PS00037 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. This announcement will close 5 business days from posting at 1 P.M. Eastern time. The quoter may give alternative pricing methods. Example: one firm fixed price for a 12 month period; 12 firm fixed prices for each of the twelve months of the year. The contract Specialist will determine which method is most beneficial to the Government at the time of evaluation. Price per gallon of propane must include all applicable taxes and delivery fees. REQUIREMENTS: PROVIDE Propane for Bureau of Indian Education facilities located in Tonalea, AZ. The agency will require approximately 22,000 gallons of propane. Delivery will be made on a "As Needed" basis from 01/01/2012 to 12/31/2012. Requests for refills will be requested by the school business manager. The Tonalea School has one 12,000 gallon tank. 22,000 Gallons at $______?________ per gallon. EVALUATION FACTORS: (1) Price (2) Past performance; (3) Locality (locally owned business); (4) Native American/Indian Owned Business (determination if the business is Indian Owned is up to the CO); (5) Small Business status (determination of status as a small business will be made by using SBA standards). The evaluation factors are not listed in order of importance. This is NOT a Native Owned business set-aside or a Small business set-aside, but both factors may be used to determine the winning quote.
