Property Refurbishment, Construction and Maintenance

National Grid UK Limited is establishing a Qualifying Utilities Dynamic Market (QUDM) to create a qualified supplier marketplace for Property Refurbishment, Property Construction, and Property Maintenance (PRCM) services. This initiative supports the delivery of refurbishment, construction, maintenance, compliance, wellbeing, and estate improvement projects across a diverse portfolio of operational, corporate, and specialist sites in England and Wales, including offices, depots, workshops, training centres, and substation ancillary buildings. The QUDM is intended to serve as the primary route to market for these services and may be utilized by various National Grid group companies, including National Grid Electricity Transmission, National Grid Electricity Distribution, and National Grid Ventures, though no minimum volume of work is guaranteed. The open-ended period of performance is estimated to begin on November 23, 2026. To qualify for membership, suppliers must undergo a validation process to demonstrate legal and financial capacity, specifically regarding financial stability and compliance with PA23 Schedules 6 and 7, as well as technical ability in safety and the three core PRCM functional areas. Work may be awarded on a national, regional, or site-specific basis across various UK regions, including London, the Midlands, the North, and the South. The procurement is managed by Matthew Brock and covers a broad range of construction and installation works, including fire safety and building regulation upgrades.
