This resource will be accessible to DOI employees via the DOI Library website, supporting historians and researchers whose work depends on these unique primary and secondary materials. The contract also includes a one-year continuing service fee to enable ProQuest to host the collection on their servers. The procurement aligns with FAR regulations governing sole source acquisitions and is intended to fulfill the agency’s need for a comprehensive Black Studies database. The action aims to facilitate research and enhance the Department’s capability to document and share the Black experience in America. The point of contact for this procurement is Kield Ross at the Interior Business Center Acquisition Services Directorate in Herndon, VA.
