The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division intends to issue a sole source extension of up to twelve months to the current ordering period of an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract, HSHQE2-14-D-00004, with The COGAR Group, Ltd. (11166 Fairfax Blvd, Suite 306, Fairfax, VA 22030-5017). This proposed extension will provide for continued protective security officer (PSO) services at Customs and Border Protection (CBP) locations throughout Puerto Rico and to allow placement of a new contract to continue critical PSO services at these locations. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with The COGAR Group, Ltd. under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be made available.
