Third, eligible quotes are scored on proximity to the installation, room block guarantees, and amenities such as in-room kitchenettes and complimentary hot breakfast. Payment is handled via Government Purchase Card for calls under 25,000 dollars and through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) module for calls exceeding that amount, with consolidated monthly invoices due by the 10th of each month. The contract period runs from June 5 to June 20, 2026, and requires the provision of 18 double-occupancy rooms for 270 total room nights at a facility located within half a mile of 101 Academy Drive in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. This procurement is conducted under FAR Part 12 procedures as a commercial item acquisition, specifically invoking FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to justify the sole-source selection due to the unique geographic and operational necessity of housing personnel directly adjacent to the training site, with no other vendor reasonably available to meet mission-critical requirements. The contractor must ensure all rooms are non-smoking, feature two actual beds with internal hallway access and locked exterior doors, provide 24/7 front desk staffing, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary parking. All lodging must comply with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, and the contractor must be listed on the official Hotel-Motel Master List. The U.S. Government is tax-exempt under Number B239641, and the hotel may not retain personal credit or debit cards for incidentals; any charges beyond room rate and parking are the individual service member’s responsibility. Invoices must be submitted electronically via the Invoice Processing Platform and are subject to Net 30 payment terms, with Net 15 applicable for qualifying small businesses. No competitive solicitation is being issued; responses to this notice must include compelling evidence that competition would benefit the government and must be submitted exclusively via email to christopher.u.columbres@uscg.mil by May 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.
