Policy and Reciprocal Procurement: This solicitation is open only to Canadian suppliers. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. Correctional Service Canada (CSC) Health Services require the services of a licensed physician with a specialty in psychiatry (referred to herein as a psychiatrist) for Community Mental Health in the Ontario Region. Objectives: Provide and actively participate in the coordination of essential mental health services to offenders as a psychiatrist, in the Ontario Region. Deliverables: At the request of the Project Authority, the Contractor must: Provide mental health services to offenders in accordance with the National Essential Health Services Framework. Prepare the relevant documentation for those cases requiring an order for treatment against the will of the offender or order of custody in an institution, in accordance with Provincial Legislation.
