This RFI is issued by a coalition of provinces, including Alberta, Ontario, and British Columbia, seeking to understand current capabilities, technologies, service models and approaches available in the marketplace. The RFI is intended to explore potential nationwide and regional implementation approaches. Respondents may propose innovative telecommunications solutions that leverage current and emerging technologies to support the future PSBN. This includes approaches that can improve the value (better user-experience, hardened network, efficiencies, improved coverage and interoperability, enhanced secure communications) of future networks to the provinces, territories and first responders using the PSBN.
