PURCHASE & DELIVERY OF SMART SNACK APPROVED CATEGORIES

Cartersville City Schools is soliciting proposals for the purchase and delivery of Smart Snack approved beverages for its primary, elementary, middle, and high school cafeterias, as well as catering services and special events. The scope of work includes four primary categories: carbonated drinks, water products, juices, and sports drinks. The contract is a multi-year agreement with an initial one-year term effective from November 10, 2026, to November 10, 2027, with options to renew for four additional one-year terms based on performance. Qualified manufacturers, distributors, or bottlers must maintain a regional office in or near Georgia and adhere to all GA DOE guidelines. Deliveries are generally required weekly and must be transported in well-maintained refrigerated trucks to designated indoor areas. The School Nutrition Program may require emergency deliveries in less than two days. Bidders must provide a complete catalog breakdown of all available SKUs with wholesale and unit pricing, which must remain firm for 90 days following the award. Price adjustments may be requested every six months with 30 days' notice, though the agency reserves the right to seek alternative sources if increases exceed 5 percent. All substitutions require prior approval from the Director of School Nutrition. Proposals are due by November 2, 2026, and must include E-Verification documentation, a Certificate of Insurance, and a W-9 form.
