All plant material must be container grown, sourced from an FNGLA Certified Horticulture Professional, and meet Florida No. 1 grade standards as defined by the Florida Department of Agriculture's Grade and Standards for Nursery Plants, 2022, as well as the American Standard for Nursery Stock (ANSI Z60.1), 2014. Each tree must have a single dominant leader, with no co-dominant structures, and foliage loss from root pruning must not exceed ten percent. Delivery must be coordinated with the County’s Utilities Superintendent, Pedro Berrios, with at least two business days’ notice, and must occur only after issuance of an original Purchase Order. The vendor is responsible for all labor, machinery, tools, cranes, transportation, and offloading equipment necessary for delivery, though no installation is required. Goods must be new, unused, and shipped in suitable packaging with clear labels identifying the contractor’s name, purchase order number, and any additional solicitation-specific information. Prices are FOB Destination, inclusive of all shipping, handling, fuel, and incidentals, and must account for the County’s tax exemption status.
