The City of Sierra Vista will accept competitive sealed bids from experienced contractors to purchase and install solar-powered street lights in the Cloud 9/Montebello/Whispering Springs subdivisions. The Engineer's estimate for the entire project is: $600,000 however the City will select the quantity of street lights to complete based on its available budget (about 50% of the entire project total).The City of Sierra Vista has been awarded a grant through the Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) and Award shall be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. This purchase is partially funded by the Federal Transit Authority as part of the 5307 Urbanized Area Formula Funding Program (49 U.S.C. 5307). This purchase will be subject to all applicable federal requirements of the grant under 2 CFR 200 and FTA Circular 4220.1F. Davis Bacon wages will apply.
