Purchase of Rapid Syndromic Molecular Testing Reagents for Seattle VAMC

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 20, is conducting market research via a sources-sought notice for the procurement of FDA-approved rapid syndromic molecular testing reagents and consumables for the Seattle VA Medical Center. This requirement supports RT-PCR diagnostic testing for infectious diseases and oncology, serving veterans in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska, as well as transplant patients nationwide. The scope includes single-use test cartridges and reagents compatible with VA-owned instruments for a wide range of targets, including SARS-CoV-2, influenza, RSV, C. difficile, MRSA, Group A Strep, Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, and various gastrointestinal and vaginal pathogens. The vendor will also be required to provide compatible swab collection kits and safety data sheets upon request.
