The US Coast Guard intends to award a follow-on, sole source, purchase order for Constuction Inspection Services for USCG ANT Building located at Dulac, LA to Crawford Consulting Services Inc for the remainder of the construction contract period of 1 March to 30 September 2012. Crawford Consulting Services Inc. provided the construction inspection services from the beginning of the construction period to date under an 8a contract which has expired. The current inspector has knowledge of the existing site and the requirements of the on-going construction project which would result in duplication of costs to the Government that would not be recovered through soliciting competitive proposals for this work. The purchase order will require inspection services and coordination with the construction contractor, the Coast Guard Base and the government pertaining to the specifications and drawings during the construction of the building. The inspector will be required to be on-site during the construction period. Questions regarding this announcement should be directed to the Contracting Officer, Maggie Wilson at Maggie.M.Wilson@uscg.mil.
