PWC Dredge Lake Loramie Dredger

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is soliciting bids for a new, conventional swing model dredger to be used at Lake Loramie State Park for the excavation of silt, muck, sand, peat, clay, and gravel. The equipment must meet specific dimensions, including a maximum length of 75 feet, a width between 23 and 24 feet, and a minimum hull depth of 4 feet. Technical requirements include a Caterpillar C18 Marine Engine and adherence to ASME standards. The contractor is required to provide comprehensive technical documentation, including assembly drawings and operation manuals, as well as up to five days of in-person training and assembly assistance. Delivery is required by April 2027 on an F.O.B. destination basis to Minster, Ohio. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the low lot total. Evaluation preferences may be applied for Buy American, Buy Ohio, and Veteran-Friendly Business certifications, provided the qualifying product exceeds 50 percent of the total offered cost. Quality assurance requires that the dredger be tested under full load conditions and undergo inspection and approval by two state representatives prior to shipment at the awardee's expense. All invoices must be submitted to Financial Shared Services with specific identifiers, including Origin-DNR-U77 and the assigned purchase order number, with payments generally due within 30 calendar days of receipt of a proper invoice.
